First Stages of Walking!

Jack is in the first stages of walking. He has mastered crawling and has now moved onto pulling himself up onto the furnature and sofa cruising. Occasionally he gets brave and lets go of whatever it is he's holding onto, but he just ends up on his bum. I recently bought him a toy that he can walk behind and push around the apartment. We think that he will be walking on his own in no time!

He hasn't quit mastered the "walking stance", but with daddy's help he will be there in no time.

SUMMER LOVIN'

Adam, Jack and I have had an amazing summer. We have been home only one weekend since June. We busied our weekends with artist retreats, weddings, concerts, relaxing at the lake, bacholer parties, and family get togethers. Jack had a blast this summer and had so many "firsts". He LOVES water and is definetly a beach baby. He got to spend a lot of time with both sides of the family and melted the hearts of his Grandma Janet and Grandma Barb all summer long!

But along with the fun we have also had a lot of stress with a ton of car trouble, breaking down coming home from the lake, getting it towed and "fixed" and having it return to Regina, only to send it back to the shop to get it fixed again. But with help from family we got through and now our car is fine, cross our fingers!

OH YEAH AND ADAM AND I GOT ENGAGNED THIS SUMMER!

And so it begins.

Adam and I wanted to keep our family and friends up to date on our happenings without having to post everything on facebook, especially videos, photos, and stories about Jack. We have so much family that can not see Jack grow with us and with Andy and Mel recently in Thailand, we finally got the kick we needed to start a blog.
